Since we sell beautiful precious metal pieces to be worn by pets, we feel we should share a few tips. Precious metals are softer, just as our precious metal jewelry shows wear our pets jewelry will be no different.

Some desire to keep these pieces more pristine and only have their pets wear them occasionally. Others prefer letting the wear create the unique pieces that only "lived-in" pieces become.

Some of the ways you can help limit wear is to not have any additional tags behind our tag. We also recommend collars with buckle hardware that will not come in contact with our tag. In addition your pet's activity level and the activities themselves can affect wear.

We have kept wear in mind and created our tags extra thick and engraved deeper to allow polishings to happen over time to bring back the luster, if desired.
